Me, David Muxo. I spent a lot more time on base
while I was in the 1/14th. By now I was a short-timer, and especially during the last
month I took patrols out made up of clerks and cooks. Now THAT was scary. |

Rochester, New York. But we can't remember his name. |

Sergeant Higgins was previously a LRRP, long
range patrol member. We suspected that he had been in Cambodia and North Vietnam.

John Livewell has identified the soldier on the
right as Lt. Dennis Dotson, who was killed in action when the helicopter he was riding
in crashed on June 5, 1970. Lt. Dotson was our platoon leader. |
